Is my data saved online?
No. Everything is stored in your browser's localStorage. No server, no login required.
Can I paste images?
Yes. Copy any image and paste it directly into the editor. It embeds as a base64 image.
How do I export to PDF?
Click the PDF button in the toolbar. Your document will open in a print-ready view for saving as PDF.
Can I create nested folders?
Yes. Right-click any folder and choose "New Subfolder" to create unlimited nesting levels.
Is there a file size limit?
LocalStorage allows roughly 5MB per domain. Keep image pasting minimal for best performance.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once loaded, NoteTree works fully offline with no internet connection needed.
How do I delete a document?
Right-click the document or folder in the explorer and choose Delete.
