- Click Edit anytime — before or after completion — to update task content.
- Click Done to mark complete and stop the timer.
- Use the date picker or All / Active / Done tabs to filter. Use the search box to find tasks by keyword.
- Click Export ▾ and choose JSON (full data) or PDF (formatted report).
Tips
Tasks are grouped by date automatically — newest first.
JSON export preserves all formatting and can be used for backup or re-import.
Is my data saved?
Yes — stored in your browser's localStorage. Persists across refreshes, nothing sent to any server.
Is the timer accurate if I switch tabs?
Yes. Timers use real timestamps, not tick counting — background tabs, sleep mode, and page reloads don't affect accuracy.
Can I run multiple timers at once?
Yes. Start timers on as many tasks as you like simultaneously.
Can I edit a task after adding it?
Yes. Click Edit on any task — active or done — to update its content in the editor.
What do the exports contain?
JSON includes full rich-text content and all task data. PDF is a formatted report grouped by date with status, timer, and content.
Task Track is a free browser-based time tracker — no sign-up, no server, no data leaves your device.
Built for freelancers, developers, and anyone who needs simple task time logging.
